How should I determine which sources are scholarly peer reviewed articles and which are not?

Articles are published in academic journals, and these journals can be found within different databases. To know if an academic journal is peer-reviewed, you can go to the journal's home page and read about the journal. Determine whether the journal's peer review process holds up to today's standards of scholarly peer review.
