Hi! Is there a database that can help shortlist journals for submitting an article for publishing?

I heard one of the profs mention that there was way to type in the title of the draft and look-up where similar articles have been published in the past. Thank you!!!

Hi Shweta,

That resource is called JANE (Journal/Author Name Estimator). It's found on the Internet Resources page under Journal Information-->Journal influence/where should I publish? section.

Enter the title of your draft then click on "Find Journals" to retrieve a list of journal suggestions. Your draft title and "Find Articles" will retrieve those similar articles. There's also a author and keyword search feature.

Please let us know if you have more questions.
