When I manually enter references into RefWorks, it lets me fill in all the fields except for the Title.
According to RefWorks tech specialists, users running Windows Internet Explorer (IE) 9 have come across this issue. RefWorks is working to correct this glitch, but there is a remedy that will allow text to be entered in the Title field. Note: This fix will also work for those not running IE 9 but experiencing the cam eissue.
Click the Compatibility View icon at the top of the screen (looks like a torn piece of paper). Once clicked, the icon will change from an outline to a solid color to indicate that it's been selected.
Once you've turned on the Compatibility View, you will be able to enter text into the Title field.
Whenever you visit RefWorks (or any webiste), it will be displayed in Compatibility View. However, if/when they update the website to display correctly in the current version of Internet Explorer, Compatibility View will automatically turn off.
